Reflections on Heroic Flourishing Accelerator π₯
I just completed the inaugural cohort of the eight-week Heroic Flourishing Accelerator (HFA).
My expectations were high, but it over-delivered. The Accelerator is the best of what Heroic offers in the most effective and total package for anyone truly ready to commit to living heroically and flourishing today.
Through the Heroic Flourishing Accelerator, I:
Increased my level of flourishing in every domain (77% to 88% overall).
Faithfully forged my character through the most challenging season of fatherhood yet.
Grew stronger with greater antifragile confidence that I'll carry forever into serving and leading myself, my family, and others at whole new levels.
HFA coincided with THE most testing season of fatherhood yet. It was the perfect opportunity to forge my antifragile confidence in the relentlessly hot furnace of toddler tantrums and family logistics.
Most importantly, I deepened into living my faith in action, joyfully enduring (HypomonΔ, my word of 2026) and showing up fully to the relationships that matter the most. I looked at myself more honestly while surrendering to the process and in the progress.
During HFA, I was moved to openly share my faithful journey as I completed a "Game of Minutes Experiment".
I discovered that Service and Leadership to the household can be more difficult and as/more important to serving and leading organizations and serving humanity at-large. As a father and husband, showing up fully and practicing my philosophy with my wife and kids is not just important, it is integral.
Traveling the endless path of moving from theory to practice to mastery, my intention was fulfilled beyond hope: in eight weeks, I traveled farther and faster than ever with others committed to do the same.
Huge gratitude to Michael Balchan, the Heroic team, and EVERYONE in this inaugural cohort! You all shaped this phenomenal experience through your presence and efforts. Thank you for making HFA possible in this most sacred season of my life and this most opportune moment in human history.
The practice continues. New visions and dreams are emerging thanks to the completion of HFA and incredibly synergistic happenings.

P.S. - A special callout to any overworked exhausted young parents who may be reading this: I completed HFA while my oldest son turned four years old and my youngest son turned four months. It was tough, yes. But I just showed up the best I could, when I could. Imperfectly and however my reality allowed. My dedication to do the work is already and will continue to pay dividends. HFA is zero fluff, so if you think "I don't have the time" but want to flourish now and faster, I wholeheartedly recommend HFA.
